Natural Resources

We are aware that the materials we purchase, consume and dispose of have a significant impact on the environment. To reduce this impact, we aim to:

Encourage our guests to segregate and recycle waste

We are aiming to maximise recycling and dispose of zero waste to landfill by 2015. Last year, we introduced a separate food waste collection for each of our Villages, which has diverted 375 tonnes of food waste from landfill, helping us achieve a 12% reduction in waste to landfill. We have also increased our recycling by 11% (289 tonnes).

Reduce our water use by 10% per guest by 2020

Unfortunately, we have seen a three percent increase in water consumption. However, we're working tirelessly to try and reduce our consumption and have introduced new, efficient water appliances and sanitary ware but endeavour to do more.

Review our procurement process to improve the sustainability of our supply chain. We are aiming to ensure that all vulnerable raw materials come from sustainable sources

The Center Parcs procurement process ensures the sustainability of our supply chain. Our Supplier Awards recognise suppliers that work across different areas of the business for their exceptional service and impressive environmental credentials.
