"Myself, my husband and 4 year old son went to Center Parcs Longford in October this year. It was our first time there. Our lodge was just the right distance from the center, as in we did have to cycle but it was a nice easy cycle which our little boy managed to do each day, it was his first venture on a bike for a week.
The lodge was very well laid and with all the necessary kitchen equipment. The log fire was a fab addition also as I love a real fire.
We ate out every evening and I found the prices of food very reasonable considering they have the monopoly, I don't think that is taken advantage of at all. They catered for gluten free and had vegan options also. A non-dairy coffee was less than €4 which is unheard of in Dublin.
I don't know where to start about the activities and facilities for kids and adults, there is so much to do, you can be busy all day, and we were. The pool was amazing and warm!!! The staff were so lovely, friendly and very helpful! Our son had such a great time and seeing his joy was the best part of the trip for me. Thank you Center Parcs, we will definitely be back"

"Well, what can I say!? We had a ball.
From the lovely modern, clean, well stocked chalet to the exhausting activities, from the fun filled pool set up to the fab restaurants. I really can't fault it.
We arrived on Monday last, October 11, 21 for a four night family break in a 3 bed chalet/house. House had all mod cons, great quality bedlinens and comfy beds, plenty of storage and space to move around.
The village has a number of restaurants (american style diner, Indian restaurant & takeaway, Italian restaurant and irish foods restaurant (though Cara's was closed) so we didn't have to cook every night. We brought pre cooked dinners for the first night, cooked the second, went to Hucks on the third night and got take away from the local Jolly Boys restaurant in Ballymahon on the last night. Hucks was tasty and covered all of our personal favourites. As did Jolly Boys takeaway, but the highlight where the food ws concerned was the Pancake House on Wednesday morning. What a selection of both savory and sweet pancakes, waffles, omlettes, etc. Spoiled for choice!!
The village also has a supermarket, which was immaculately clean, well stocked and not outrageously priced, a kids toys store, a Joules clothing store and a home store for trinkets and souvenirs. There are a number of cafes and/or coffee shops/vans, etc with all the necessaries to keep you going throughout the day.
We loved the choice of activities, suitable for all ages, levels of activity, etc. Watersports, indoor sports, outdoor activities they have it all. We did badminton, katakanu, swimming, aeriel adventure, archery & bowling, while our friends did laser tag, kayaking and crazy golf as well as swimming & aeriel adventure.
The on site staff were very, very helpful and so friendly and pleasant.
The added bonus ws we had booked a dog friendly chalet/house so we could bring our miniture schnauzer along too. She had a great time, lots of walks, etc.
Would we go back? Absolutely, we would! Can't wait for our next trip!"
