Bike hire at Center Parcs Cycle Centre

With a car-light environment, cycling through our resort is a wonderful way to explore our glorious woodland and get to your next activity. At the Cycle Centre our knowledgeable staff will make sure you get exactly the right equipment for your height, age and ability. From adult and junior mountain bikes, to tandems, tag-a-longs and trailers, we have every option you can think of. We also stock a range of accessories to keep you safe and comfortable as you pedal, including protective gear, water bottles, lights and gloves. These are available to buy or hire.

Pre-booked cycles can be collected between 11am – 8pm on your arrival day and should be returned between 8am – 10am on your departure day. On non-arrival and departure days, the Cycle Centre opening times are 9am – 5pm.

Cycling at Center Parcs

We highly recommend you pre-book cycles before your break as they are very popular! 

  • Duet bikes, which are suitable for wheelchair users, are available to book via our contact centre on 0818 818013
  • The use of e-scooters, hoverboards or any similar equipment powered by motors is not permitted on our resort. Electric bikes may still be used, as these are power assisted
  • We strongly recommend wearing a helmet for your own safety. Helmets are included free of charge with every hire.
  • When braking, apply both brakes together and in wet or icy conditions allow longer braking distances
  • Make sure to turn your lights on when cycling in the dark so that you can be seen by others 
  • When cycling around the resort, keep left. If you choose to cycle outside of Center Parcs please be aware there are busy roads surrounding

Yes, there are cycling trails throughout the village at Center Parcs. They’re mostly traffic-free and designed for safe, scenic rides through the forest. You can pick up a cycling trail map from the Cycle Centre or view it anytime in the Center Parcs app to plan your route.

Can I book bikes online before my break?

Yes, you can book bikes online through your account or the Center Parcs app. Pre-booking is recommended to secure your preferred bike size and style, and you can get the best price by booking at the same time as your accommodation. T&Cs apply

Can bikes be hired for just one day?

Yes, bikes can be hired for a single day or for the duration of your stay. Prices and availability are shown when booking online or at the Cycle Centre.

Can I bring my own bike to Center Parcs?

Yes, you can bring your own bike to Center Parcs. We recommend bringing a bike lock and always securing your bike when it’s unattended.

Can I hire tandems or sit-down bikes at Center Parcs?

Yes, tandems and sit-down bikes are available to hire. As these are popular options, we recommend booking online in advance to avoid disappointment.

Can I hire an electric bike from the Cycle Centre at Center Parcs?

Yes, electric bikes are available to hire at most Center Parcs villages. Availability is limited, so we recommend booking online in advance.

Do you need bike locks at Center Parcs?

We recommend locking your bike whenever it’s unattended. Locks are included with all hire bikes, or you can bring your own if you’re bringing your bike from home.

Can you cycle at Center Parcs?

Yes, cycling at Center Parcs is one of the most popular ways to get around the village. With safe, car-free paths and scenic woodland trails, it’s perfect for all ages.  

Does Center Parcs have bike trails?

Yes, Center Parcs has bike trails throughout the village, offering traffic-free routes through the forest. You can pick up a cycling trail map from the Cycle Centre or view it anytime in the Center Parcs app to plan your route.

What time can you collect bikes at Center Parcs?

You can collect your bikes from the Cycle Centre from 2pm on your arrival day, or from 11am if you’ve booked early arrival. Check your booking confirmation or the app for your collection details.

Do Center Parcs provide bike helmets?

Yes, bike helmets are included free of charge with all bike hires at Center Parcs. If you prefer, you can also bring your own.  

Can I book cycle hire if I’m not the lead booker?

Yes, you can book cycle hire even if you’re not the lead booker, as long as you have access to the booking through your account or app.

Can I hire a trailer for my cycle booking?

Yes, trailers can be added to your cycle booking at Center Parcs. They’re ideal for carrying little ones or extra luggage around the village.

Can you check if we pre-booked cycles for our stay?

Log in to your Center Parcs account or app and check your itinerary. If you can’t see your booking, please contact our Contact Centre on 03448 266200 or speak to the Cycle Centre team when you arrive.

Why isn’t my cycle hire showing on my itinerary?

If your cycle hire isn’t displayed on your itinerary, it may not have been successfully booked. Please check your booking confirmation email and payment details. If you're still unable to locate your booking, please contact our Contact Centre on 03448 266200.
