This fantastic, fun watersport is perfect for children and grown ups alike, as you and your group hit the water to explore the lake and its surrounding scenery. Twin hulled to form a catamaran, they make for an exciting experience in the great outdoors.
One Katakanu accommodates up to 6 people

What should I wear?
Please wear any clothing and footwear you don't mind getting wet.
Do I need to be an expert at Kayaking?
You don't have to be a kayaking expert to hire a Double Kayak, it's all about trying something new.
What happens when we arrive?
Speak to a member of staff at The Boathouse who will get your buoyancy aid for you and inform you of which paddles to get.
Single Kayak Hire
Get out in the fresh air, hit the open water and learn to navigate your way around in our extremely safe open-cockpit kayaks. Minimum age 8 years.
Double Kayak Hire
Spend some peaceful quality time with your partner or invite a friend or family member, taking to the water in one of our fantastic double kayaks. You’ll learn new skills in the water, taking in your idyllic surroundings at the same time.
Rowing Boat Hire
Enjoy the fresh air as you gently row your way around our beautiful lake, taking in all the stunning views of the forest – a wonderful activity for couples or friends and family alike. Minimum age 4 months.
