Outdoor Adventure

From pulse-racing to peaceful, there’s plenty of outdoor adventures! Take in the sights and sounds of the forest on the Segway Experience or set your sights on an Archery session. Looking for something for the little ones? Let them get behind the wheel of a miniature 4x4 in Off-Road Explorers, or glide on the zip wire on Mini Trek.

Archery - Field Archery

Stealth, speed, precision and accuracy… Field Archery is about so much more than hitting the bullseye. Learn all the special techniques from our experts before you’re unleashed into the forest to find and fire at targets. Minimum age 10 years. Available at all locations.

Laser Combat

Off Road Explorers

This great adventure is for you and your little ones to enjoy together. Watch as they navigate around the track in a miniature 4x4, tackling rough terrain and rumble strips as they go. Ages 3 to 7 years.

Archery - Crossbows

Archery - Target Archery

Accuracy and precision are the names of the game as you take aim and fire. It’s friendly family fun with a competitive edge as you take on the challenges and see who can rack up the most bullseyes. Minimum age 10 years. Available at all locations.

Adrenaline

Test your limits and embrace the adrenaline at Action Challenge. Head into the trees for an Aerial Adventure – if you dare. Little ones looking for adventure? Mini Trek or Aerial Tree Trekking will test out their climbing skills, for real adrenaline fuelled excitement.

Get everyone involved in a fun kickabout on the Five-a-Side Court or keep them on their toes with a game of Tennis. You’ll find activities for all ages, so whatever your ability there’s something for everyone. Ready to burn off some energy together?

Football Fun Factory

Whether your child is a keen footballer or has never played football before, our Football Fun Factory sessions offer opportunities to have fun and make friends in a relaxed and pressure-free environment. Ages 6-11 years. An adult aged 18 years and over must be present. Available at all locations.

Five-a-Side Court Hire

Get your friends and family together, enlist your village neighbours and enjoy a fun kickabout during your break. You can hire our pitch by the hour, making it perfect for a friendly game of five-a-side. Available at Whinfell Forest and Sherwood Forest.

A classic, traditional game for the family to enjoy together. Simple, straightforward and as competitive (or relaxed) as you want it to be. Available at Whinfell Forest.

Footgolf

Let your child join us on this unaccompanied 3-hour Football Fun Factory Experience. They will be guided by our superstar coach in fun and exciting activities with our football inflatables. Ages 8-12 years. Available at all locations.

Nature

Learn more about the woodland you're staying in and meet some of our feathered friends in an Encounter with Owls. Join us for a Nature Walk and explore our magical woodland in a nature activity that the whole family can enjoy. Even the smallest family members can become Nature Detectives as they explore the forest.

Bring the whole family together and create your very own woodland hideaway in Den Building and Decorating, test your navigational skills in Geocache or make a splash with one of our Katakanus.

Baby Owls

Our Baby Owls session is a great chance for you, along with little ones to enjoy meeting Pop, our very own sleepy barn owl, and some of his feathered friends in the forest. Minimum age 1 year.

Geocache

Put your orienteering and navigational skills to the test, using GPS devices to discover the hidden passwords on our high-tech treasure hunt. The first group to finish the course wins a special prize. Available at all locations.

Family Nature Journal

Take a journey through our forests. Head out with our Rangers who will let you discover the nature you’re surrounded by. You can fill in your nature journal and take it home with you. Ages 3 to 9 years. Available at Sherwood Forest, Elveden Forest, Woburn Forest and Longleat Forest.

Nature Walk

Explore our fascinating woodland and uncover the secrets of the forest. Join us as we see a variety of plants, animals, birds and insects on this informative tour with our experienced Rangers. Minimum age 4 years.

Our outdoor activities encourage children to gain new interests, building on hobbies they already love or trying out something new for the first time. We’ve got something for everyone – whether it’s Laser Combat for the more adventurous, Robin Hood and Little Johns to learn new archery skills and put them to the test or Nature Detectives for curious minds.

Watersports

Bring the whole family together and make a splash on a Katakanu or take in the scenic forest views as you navigate the lake on our Electric Boats. Looking for something more relaxing? Pedalos are the perfect way to take in the beautiful scenery around you.

Join your budding sea captains on our Junior Captain’s Adventure, a fun and interactive activity navigating the lake using our special tiny trawlers. Minimum age 2 years.

The Beach

Soak up the sun on our very own sandy beaches and enjoy the view of our picturesque lakes. Or why not build some sandcastles together, and enjoy an ice cream from our Boathouse Kiosk? Whatever you choose to do, the waterfront is the perfect place to make those special family moments.
