Entrance

The main entrance to the Venue has two methods of access: a run of twelve steps, with handrails; and a long ramp that is in part steeper than 1 in 12.

Lighting

General lighting in the Venue is normally to daylight standard, however it may be subdued for particular events, particularly discos.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are available within the Venue.

Counter

The bar is not provided with a lowered counter area, however, staff offer reasonable assistance as necessary to provide service at the bar.

Induction Hearing Loop A portable infrared induction hearing loop is available. This should be requested on booking if required. Current neck loop numbers are sufficient for the normal level of usage. However, there may be times when more are required. Please give as much notice as possible of your requirements, and where necessary and possible we will source additional.

Noise

Noise levels vary with activity. Please discuss particular events with the booking desk where relevant. 

Conference Information

For conferences, prior arrangements can be made for parking in close proximity and for guests to be met by staff to provide assistance.

Stage

The floor has 2 height settings: Low at 400mm and High at 580mm. There is no ramp access for the stage.
