February mid-term holidays and breaks

A family in the forest surrounded by fairy lights
The rapids outside the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Longford Forest.

Longford Forest

Nestled in 400 acres of diverse, historic woodland just five kilometres from Ballymahon, Longford is our newest resort and first in Ireland. Discover Ireland’s largest indoor water park, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, relax in the Aqua Sana Forest Spa (winner of the Spa of the Year - Professional Beauty Ireland Awards 2023), try Interactive Gaelic Games, stroll along natural watercourses and see wildlife including pine marten, red squirrels, grey herons and fallow deer.

Discover Longford Forest

  • Multi-level water play structure splashes as a giant tipping bucket dumps water; fountains spray around bridges, stairs, and slides inside a large, arched-roof indoor aquatic park.
  • Three people swim and float forward, smiling, as churning blue water pushes them along a narrow, rock-lined lazy river surrounded by tropical plants inside an indoor water park.
  • Parents and two young children play with water tables, pouring and scooping in a shallow indoor pool. Warm lighting, wooden railings, swimsuit attire, gentle splashing, smiling in an interactive play area.
  • Swimming pool—people wade and float—set within a tropical resort: blue water curves around rocks and a small bridge, shaded by dense palms and trees, lounge chairs lining the edge.
  • Inflatable raft carries four riders, splashing and leaning as they descend through a curving enclosed waterslide; teal-tinted light and white panels illuminate the smooth cylindrical tunnel around them.

Subtropical Swimming Paradise

Discover lodges for your February half-term break

  • Child runs, holding a red shovel and purple bucket on a sandy beach, bundled in a teal puffer coat and bear-ear knit hat, with water and blurred boats behind.
  • Rope-lined forest path winds forward, illuminated by hanging vertical blue lights. Surrounding trees glow with scattered small ground lights, creating a luminous nighttime woodland installation.
  • Boy slides down blue tube waterslide, arms crossed and smiling, water splashing around him, wearing black-and-white leaf-print swim trunks; indoor waterpark setting with rock wall in background.
  • Wooden cabin stands with large windows, reflecting light; sunlight filters through surrounding forest, casting dappled shadows on a dirt path leading to the entrance.
