Family Winter Quest is an immersive, exploratory experience for the whole family. Solve clues, puzzles and riddles as you guide your way through the Lodge of Light to discover the secret forest cabin at the end, learning all about wildlife that call the winter forest home.
Discover a fun and creative owl-themed session! You and your little ones will create three owl-inspired masterpieces and hear the enchanting story behind the Winter Forest Lights. Ages 3 to 9 years.
Let your little ones get creative in this fun session led by our fairies. They'll decorate some delicious cookies and finish the session with an enchanting winter story. Ages 3 to 9 years.
Get stuck in with lots of squidging, sticking and splashing fun in this owl-themed activity. Our Activity Den is packed with creative play stations where you can get messy together. Ages 18 months to 5 years.
Join us in the Tipi and get your face painted by one of our fairy friends, using special UV paints for a spectacular glow in the dark look - perfect for The Wishlight Village. Minimum age 2 years.
Twist and turn like a fish through our magically glowing pool on the miniature Seadoos submersibles. You’ll learn plenty of new skills as you navigate the water in this enchanting activity. Minimum age 8 years.
Learn how to weave delicate willow fronds into a beautifully illuminated willow ornament decked out with fairy lights to brighten up your home during the winter months. Minimum age 8 years.
Learn impressive techniques to decorate and embellish six beautiful winter-themed cupcakes to take home with you. They'll almost look too good to eat! Minimum age 8 years.
Weave your way through the winter woodland, following the map to find the clues and solve the puzzles. Learn all about the fascinating forest in this outdoor family experience. Suitable for the whole family.
Whether you’re a pro or a keen amateur, dashing around the table with ping pong paddles is always a lot of fun, but have you ever played the game in the dark?
Put your putting skills to the test on our Adventure Golf course under the stars! Tackle the challenges, take the tricky tests and see who gets the golfing glory out of your friends and family on our floodlit 9 hole course. Suitable for all ages.
Get up close and personal with Beacon the Owl, the star of the Winter Forest Lights story. Supervised by our expert handlers, you’ll hold Beacon and his owl friends and learn all about these amazing creatures. Minimum age 3 years.

See wildlife in a whole new light! LED fans and 3D holographic technology bring wildlife to life with light in this new, innovative experience for all ages.

Cycle at the speed of light or spin the wheel to make the lights glow around you in these new interactive experiences.

Wrap up warm as you wander through thousands of twinkling lights and bright bursts of colour.

Winter Storytime in the Tipi
Watch our friendly storyteller bring the characters from our storybooks to life in this free storytime session. Don’t miss out – places must be booked in advance!
When: 2.30pm, 3.15pm and 4pm on Wednesday and Sunday
You can enjoy plenty of winter treats to help make your break extra special, available at an additional cost. If you’re feeling peckish, wrap up warm and head to Forest Fayre for savoury snacks and sweet treats. You can also purchase and take home our brand-new storybook, The Lost Wishlights. Little ones will love our cuddly characters, Beacon the Owl and Twiglet!
Forest Fayre
Forest Fayre is your one-stop-shop for tasty treats, which you can enjoy in the cosy Tipi or as you’re exploring the Wishlight Village. Warm up with a luxury hot chocolate, enjoy savoury dishes such as bratwurst and our brand-new snack pots. There’s no need to book, just turn up.
