The location

The Scottish Borders is a region in the southeast of Scotland, north of Hawick and south of Selkirk which shares a border with England to the south. This picturesque location is the perfect spot for a Center Parcs village with:

  • Rolling hills and open countryside providing stunning scenery at every turn
  • Historic houses, grand abbeys, impressive castles and ancient ruins lining the historic landscape
  • Diverse wildlife including ospreys, golden eagles, red squirrels and deer

Enhancing biodiversity

Our newest location will include everything you love about a Center Parcs break, with one big, exciting difference – this time, we’re planning to create our own woodland by planting thousands of new trees. The site is currently open grassland, which we’re hoping to transform into thriving woodland to create a rich, natural habitat where wildlife can flourish.

What to expect

We’ve lots of exciting plans for our first village in Scotland. We’re still in the planning stages but here’s an idea of what your Center Parcs short break will include:

Sustainability

At Center Parcs, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We’ve proudly held The Wildlife Trusts’ Biodiversity Benchmark for 17 years, and our dedicated conservation team carefully manages and enhances habitats to support local biodiversity. Every tree we plant is part of our long-term forest management plan, ensuring that our woodlands continue to grow and thrive so that nature, and our guests, can enjoy them for years to come.

The natural beauty of the Scottish Borders, with its rolling hills and open countryside, make it the perfect spot for a Center Parcs village. The landscape and culture of the region also gives us an opportunity to take a bold and new approach, by creating our own woodland.

We want all families to be able to enjoy a Center Parcs break, and this village will be no different. Features such as wheelchair and pushchair-friendly footpaths, adapted accommodation and accessible activities will all be part of your Center Parcs experience.

The project is still in the planning stages so it’s too early to say. We’ll share any special offers closer to opening.
