Our resort
Nestled in 400 acres of diverse, historic woodland just five kilometres from Ballymahon, Longford Forest is our first Irish resort. Discover Ireland’s largest indoor water park, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, relax in the Aqua Sana Spa (winner of Spa of the Year in Ireland award 2023), try Interactive Gaelic Games, stroll along natural watercourses and see wildlife including pine marten, red squirrels, grey herons and fallow deer.
When to visit
Discover something different every season: see the forest come to life in spring, splash into summer, have autumn adventures and explore the winter woodland.
Break durations
Choose from 3-night weekend breaks, 4-night midweek breaks and 7-night week-long breaks*, all beginning and ending on either a Monday or a Friday (known as ‘changeover days’). This helps us keep the number of cars on the resort to a minimum during your break.
*Over the Christmas and New Year period, break durations may vary.

- Bathrooms with walk-in/wheel-in showers
- A hoist for the hot tub and saunas and steam rooms with wider access (available in our Exclusive Adapted Lodges only)

Dog-friendly Lodges
Bring your four-legged friend on a break with the family. Our paw-friendly lodges:
- Are available in a selected number of our Woodland and Executive Lodges
- Feature tether rings on the patio so they can join you outside
- Fitted with laminate flooring, reverse door handles to prevent escapes and cosy log burners
- You can add up to two dogs per lodge

Activities for all ages
With over 100 indoor, outdoor and watersports activities, there’s something for everyone. From calm and creative to action-packed and adventurous, you can get out of your comfort zone, try something new or enjoy an activity together as a family. Most of our activities are an extra cost but there are also plenty of free things to do, including the Subtropical Swimming Paradise water park, adventure play areas, a sandy beach plus miles of woodland trails.
A range of restaurants
You’ll find a variety of restaurants on our resorts, ideal for casual family meals, celebratory special occasions or just a quick bite in between activities. With cuisines from across the world, special children’s menus and all-day dining options, there’s sure to be something to tempt your tastebuds.
You can also order restaurant food for delivery to your lodge, or if you prefer to cook then you’ll find everything you need at our well-stocked onsite supermarket, ParcMarket.
Subtropical Swimming Paradise
At the heart of our Center Parcs resort, our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is a true family favourite. With unlimited entry included in the price of your break, you can simply turn up in order to take a dip in our wave pool, tackle the Wild Water Rapids, make a splash in the water play areas or relax in our whirlpools.
Award-winning Aqua Sana Spa
Aqua Sana is our award-winning spa escape in the heart of the forest. Explore up to 21 spa experiences and discover the healing powers of heat, water and nature. Indulge in a treatment, with everything from full-body massages to stylish manicures, and visit the bright and contemporary Vitalé Café Bar. Please note that you must be aged 14 years or over to visit Aqua Sana.
Top tip – you can book little ones into a 3-hour unaccompanied activity so you can enjoy some ‘me time’ at Aqua Sana.
