Yes, our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is open daily during the festive period so thrill-seekers can experience Tropical Cyclone. Let your little ones enjoy Venture Bay and Venture Harbour, our wet play areas designed for little ones or take a night time trip down the Wild Water rapids. 

The Subtropical Swimming Paradise will be open daily, but we will close a little early on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

With the exception of Christmas day, activities from Off-Road Explorer to Pottery Painting and the Activity Den will be open throughout the festive period, pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment. 

Guest Services are open throughout the festive period but with a few changes to opening hours: Christmas Eve (8am – 8pm), Christmas Day (9am – 6pm), St. Stephen’s Day (8am – 8pm), New Year’s Eve (8am – 9pm) and New Year’s Day (9am – 9pm). Outside of these hours, if you have any issues, please call Guest Services.

We are uniquely placed in the heart of the forest and governed strictly by the Forestry Commission on fire control; we must therefore ask guests not to bring their own fireworks, sparklers and sky lanterns on to the resort. Any guest found using these will be requested to leave the resort as per our Terms and Conditions. Guests with photosensitive epilepsy are advised that our display contains lighting features that may produce a stroboscopic effect.
